Who is that with Wisconsin marijuana candidate Selthofner?
As many of you know, I talk about pot…I mean politics everywhere I go. It could be a truthful conversation with a farmer about industrial hemp cultivation and processing a different plant for food, fuel and fiber. Speaking honestly about the medical use of marijuana with doctors, patients and caregivers shows the versatility of natural plant based medicines. The compassion needed to take the criminal law out of public health issues are conversations politicians are having with community leaders every day.
Overwhelmingly the public support for marijuana reform is now becoming evident to everyone. Every opinion poll in Wisconsin has indicated the same high support. People understand prohibition does not work, ending this war on marijuana now is the only humane act needed to actually make progress in the “war on drugs”. We need to heal ailing patients, help a hurting economy and create a safer environment for future generations.
Talking “pot-politics” with citizens is one thing, but I have been working with elected officials along the way as well. Political candidates are found everywhere at the moment. I keep talking about hemp and cannabis reform with candidates seeking election this fall and I am finding support there also.
