Jeremiah J Selthofner (pronounced Sell – toff – ner), sometimes called J.J. by friends, but best known as Jay Selthofner, is married to Narin Selthofner and they have 3 amazing children. They own and operate Heritage Hemp Farm.
Jay has spent the past 14+ years volunteering for Northern Wisconsin NORML and the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network.
Our Roots Run Deep
Jay Selthofner was raised in the small town of Poy Sippi in rural Waushara County, but eventually planted his roots as part of Narin’s family farm in Green Lake.
For over two decades, the old farmstead has been host to the “From The Land Folk Festival” held each October. Jay is the Marketing coordinator for the festival.
The family continues to be active in a variety of events and causes directly in the surrounding communities.
Jay’s Work Experience
Jay managed a successful investment and insurance practice as a financial representative with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for almost a decade.
He was a Nine (9) Year Member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
Jay was also a 4-time winner of the NAIFA National Quality Award in addition to numerous other company honors.
Politics and Activism
Jay is passionate about putting the will of the people back into politics. He has worked hard for over a decade as an outspoken citizen activist.
He has meeting regularly with his State Assembly representative, Joan Ballweg, as well as Senator Luther Olsen, Congressman Tom Petri and many, many others.
Jay Selthofner is a concerned citizen activist who is passionate about creating new jobs in farming and other sectors, improving our local economy, healing hurting patients, conserving natural resources, and many other issues.
Current Projects
Jay Selthofner was the founder of Northern Wisconsin NORML (2010 – 2023), as well as the founder and Director of the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network (2011 – Present).
THC Tour
Jay is is the organizer and promoter for the THC Tour. It is a traveling expo style education seminar designed to serve as an additional public awareness campaign. the goal is to help local areas come alive with hemp and cannabis activism and generate local interest in the topics.
