Petri to visit Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Watertown, Juneau, Manitowoc, Chilton, Menasha, Winneconne, Friendship, Wautoma, Montello and Green Lake Jan 29th-Feb 3rd
Visiting with our political and elected leaders is just one part of being an activist, but an important one. As we reach more and more people, arming ourselves with information available at our fingertips is necessary. The Internet has made that easier, but I learned at a setting like the County Fair sometimes you have to improvise. Another necessary tool is networking with each other. All of us need to reach out to our friends and colleagues when something very important comes up. I live in the 6th Congressional District of Wisconsin and during my campaign for State Assembly in 2010 I had a chance to speak with many people. One of them was Congressman Tom Petri. We had a chance to cross paths while I presented “Truth, Honesty and Compassion” in an exhibit featuring the hemp cannabis plant. Â The encounter was covered on the campaign’s website:
Selthofner (L) and Petri (R)
Selthofner did shake the other hand in the 6th Congressional equation during the Waushara County Fair.  The Friends of Jay captured the exchange of more than just a handshake as Selthofner grabbed the attention of Incumbent Tom Petri (R-Fond du Lac), as the topic of marijuana reform is high on the agenda.  Jay gave Petri and update on the overwhelming amount of support he has found in the district, as well as right there at the fair.  A care package of Industrial Hemp, Medical Marijuana and Recreational Cannabis material was sent along with Petri for further inspection.  Will talking hemp and cannabis with Petri produce a perfect political partnership at the State and Federal level should Petri prevail this November? So far, none of the information was returned or reputed to Selthofner by the Petri campaign.
I was excited to receive an email alerting me to the up coming Town Hall Meetings conducted by Tom Petri and plan to attend the meeting in my location. Â Should you like a copy of information to present to your officials, please email us directly at northernwinorml@gmail.com and we will send you literature. Â At the time of this article supporters are planned to be at the Fond du Lac, Watertown, Menasha, Wautoma and of course Green Lake meetings. Â We urge you to share the announcement and show up to speak to your elected official about your concerns.
