In 2010, Wisconsin activist Ben Masel started an online twitter petition asking President Obama to pardon medical marijuana prisoners.

Over 500 Americans are currently serving Federal sentences exceeding 15 years on strictly marijuana charges. Reducing these sentences is entirely within the constitutional power of The President. Since taking office, Barack Obama has yet to issue a single pardon or sentence reduction.
