Pizza, Pot and Politics – Fox Valley Marijuana Meet and Greet

When: Saturday October 5th from high noon until 4:20pm

Where: Grow Big Hydroponics, 938 S Westland Dr, Appleton

Why: Gives folks a chance to say high to area activists and candidates for office.

Who: Open to anyone who cares about cannabis reform in Wisconsin.

On Saturday October 5th, 2024 leading Wisconsin activists will meet in the Fox Valley area with candidates for state office to discuss marijuana reform.  While we are in town, we wanted to meet you also, the residents of the area.

Our hope and intent is that additional candidates for public office in the area will use this as time to meet with voters and stakeholders on the issue of marijuana reform.

12:00pm Light lunch/refreshment and informal mingle time

1:30pm Message from Jay Selthofner of the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network

2:00pm Candidate introductions and speeches.

3:30pm A game of cornhole and/or Kubb.  Candidates vs Activists

4:20pm Smoke em if you got em.  BYOB

Thank you to our venue host Grow Big Hydroponics. Thank you to Steve from the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network for the pizza. Thank you Tim and his crew(s) from BLNCDnaturals and Foundry Nation for the getting beverages in our hands already! A few other vendors like Sean from The Village Pharm and Austin from Carbon Cannabis have pledged to also provide some beverages. Narin and Jay from Heritage Hemp Farm are know to have a few pre-rolls at these types of events also. Another huge shoutout to 3 Tall Pines who will give us some shelter and have a display of the legal products they sell in Wisconsin.

There will be no vending or selling at this event; only consuming!

And thank you, to the cannabis activists and cannabis candidates!

FAQS

There will be no vending or sales at the event so BYOB (Wi legal hemp cannabis products only).

Candidates can/will ask for/receive donations.

Our supporters can catch up with us later for merchandise/funding/etc as we plan for 2025. We cannot let out all of our strategies at this event.

Hemp cannabis beverage samples are first come first serve, while supplies last (21+ only). Limit 1 per person.

Do not consume and drive.

Politics and this event are public and there will be photos taken/possible news reporters there.

Other info:

There will be an educational display of the variety of legal hemp cannabis products currently being sold in Wisconsin.

Bring a lawn chair for yourself if you need to sit.
