Competitive Race Alert: Help Shape Assembly District 91 Before Election Day

| | |

Friends,

Some of the most important conversations happen in competitive districts—and Assembly District 91 is one of them.

Today we’re highlighting the Assembly District 91 race, covering parts of Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties. This is one of Wisconsin’s competitive legislative contests and could help determine the balance of power in the State Assembly after the November election.

Assembly District 91 starts on the East Side of the City of Eau Claire and includes Altoona, Fall Creek, Ludington, Wilson, Augusta and Fairchild areas of Chippewa and Eau Claire Counties.

When races are this close, candidates spend months meeting voters, attending community events, and listening to the concerns that matter most. That gives our community a real opportunity to influence the conversation before the next Legislature is sworn in.

We’ve Done the Research—Now We Need You

We’ve created a dedicated election discussion on the new Wisconsin hemp industry community forum, where you’ll find candidate information, campaign links, contact details, and updates for this race.

If you haven’t joined the forum yet, now is the time. Our goal is to build Wisconsin’s best online community for cannabis and hemp advocacy, election coverage, and grassroots organizing.

Your Mission

Please reach out to both candidates. Thank the Democrat for her support and question the Republican.

Ask where he stands on issues important to Wisconsin’s cannabis and hemp community, including:

  • Sensible cannabis reform
  • Protecting Wisconsin’s hemp industry
  • Supporting farmers and small businesses
  • Consumer safety
  • Personal freedom
  • Building a practical regulatory framework instead of outdated prohibition

You don’t need to be a policy expert.

Simply share your story. Explain why these issues matter to you, your family, your business, or your community.

Respectful conversations with voters are one of the best ways to educate candidates and build relationships that continue long after Election Day.

Become Our Eyes and Ears

After you’ve contacted a candidate, attended a campaign event, received a reply, or learned something new, please return to the forum and report back.

Your updates help activists, patients, business owners, and voters across Wisconsin better understand where candidates stand.

Together, we’re building a statewide network of informed advocates—one conversation at a time.

Every email sent…

I will continue to provide you additional 2026 Wisconsin State Election coverage throughout the campaign season. This next election is extremely important for cannabis reform and I will continue to bring you information as more candidates make their political moves.

In the event that we end up with divided government in the 2027-28 legislation session, the official formation of The Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus would be a must first step towards reform. The official establishment of this Caucus will represent the growing, bipartisan support in Wisconsin.

Although session has ended for 2025-26 we still urge you to contact your elected officials, as they technically can continue to work, hold committee hearings and potentially vote on any issue that is deemed to be a great priority to Wisconsinites. The top action alerts are still functionable on The Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Action Network for you immediate use.

A huge thank you once again to all my Election Coverage Sponsors, please support them if you can. One easy way to find them all and where they are throughout our great state of Wisconsin is to use The Stoner’s Travel Guide to Wisconsin website map and tag system, here you go, check them all out: https://thestonerstravelguide.com/places/tags/2026-election-coverage-sponsor/
