Candidate forum set for Oct. 28

Wisconsin’s 41st Assembly District Republican incumbent Rep. Joan Ballweg meets challengers Democrat Scott Milheiser and independent Jay Selthofner in a candidate forum Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
This public event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of the Ripon Area and will be held in the Council Chambers, Ripon City Hall, 100 Jackson St.
The forum provides each candidate a few minutes for self-introduction. Then each will be asked identical questions by a LWV moderator.
Audience members can submit questions in writing through the moderator. The segment concludes with a brief statement from each candidate.
The Ripon Channel will offer live and repeat broadcasts of the event on Charter channels 97 or 986. Questions regarding the broadcast should be directed to Ripon Channel supervisor Riley Icenogle at 920-948-6376.
