WisconsinEye Candidate Interviews Lack Marijuana Question
Cannabis reform has been a hot topic in the past elections and was truly reflected by the main stream media sources asking candidates about their stance on marijuana reform. One of those media outlets is WisconsinEye (WISEYE) and they had been consistently asking candidates about this important topic, but that seems to have come to and end. That makes the work I am doing all that more important.
The WisconsinEye coverage is very important yet though, because it does give the viewers a chance to see and hear candidates speak about important topics. To view the candidate interviews, please visit the WisconsinEYE 2024 Campaign Coverage.
Thank you again to WisconsinEye for past cannabis candidate coverage, I used and archived many of their interviews on my website also. The election coverage by JaySelthofner.com is your go-to place for everything cannabis and candidate related in Wisconsin. An ongoing database has been created for the Wisconsin State Senate, State Assembly, US Senate and Congressional Representatives and candidates for public office. Contained in the database is a variety of information about elected officials and candidates; including voting records, co-sponsorship history, candidate statements, quotes, and notes from field activists.
Emphasis on the 2024 Election Coverage will feature the most Competitive Senate and Assembly District races in the upcoming August 13th Primary Elections and November 5th General Elections.

No matter the results of the upcoming election on November 5th, marijuana reform is going to be an ongoing issue in Wisconsin for years to come. To address the comprehensive nature of marijuana laws, we need legislators who sponsored the various bills throughout the past sessions to work together towards sensible cannabis reform with the newly elected Senators and Assembly Representatives.
In the event that we end up with divided government in the 2024-25 legislation session, the official formation of The Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus would be a much needed first step towards reform. The official establishment of this Caucus will represent the growing, bipartisan support in Wisconsin.
