Will the start of the New Year for 2011 lead to a formation of a Milwaukee NORML Chapter in Wisconsin

In 2010 Wisconsin saw great strides in reforming marijuana laws. The whole state of Wisconsin had the momentum needed to carry the issue, unfortunately our legislators were not brave enough to give the issue the time, energy and dedication I feel it deserves. To keep that momentum going and to start 2011 off strong is very important. Over the holidays life will get busy, but we will have the opportunity to see, chat and visit with people we may not otherwise have the chance. Not knowing what to give as a gift, a new found voice just be the best present you can present this holiday season.  Will the start of the New Year for 2011 lead to a formation of a Milwaukee NORML Chapter in Wisconsin.

If there is a active group in your area, encourage growth. If there is not yet an active group, perhaps now is the time to start a monthly club. Those the greater Milwaukee area should take special notice of this opportunity to become organized, active and assist with the marijuana movement in Wisconsin.

Milwaukee Area to kick off 2011 with a new NORML chapter

The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws provides activists who support the reform of laws regarding Industrial Hemp, Medical Marijuana and Recreational Cannabis the tools to make a difference in the community the represent.
There has been renewed interest in the Milwaukee and greater Milwaukee area in forming a local chapter of NORML.

At this point, volunteers have stepped forward, picked January 3rd, 2011 as a date to mark down on your calendars. To make a chapter functional and begin regular meetings, this first step is needed.
