The Independent Candidate recently  interviewed with Frederica Freyberg and spoke about his plan to re-legalize hemp cannabis for Wisconsin.  Briefly touching on the benefits to our economy and job market, Langer endorsed the cultivation of Industrial Hemp for food, fuel and fiber.  Langer also indicated that medical marijuana would would Wisconsin patients and economy heal, but understands, as well as Frederica Freyberg seemed to indicated, that ending marijuana prohibition is the key to comprehensive legislation.  Freyberg hinted with comprehensive legislation comes revenue and taxation.  Langer added that he believes that marijuana is safer than alcohol and some of the problems with alcohol legalization will not be evident with marijuana.  Langer feels legalizing marijuana would be a win-win situation for everyone in Wisconsin, closing that ultimately Wisconsin belongs to the voters.
