Free 420 Concert in the Park in Green Lake Wisconsin Press Release
PRESS RELEASE:
WHAT: Free Concert in the Park
WHEN: April 20, 2011 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm
WHERE: Deacon Mills Park, Green Lake Wisconsin 54941
This will be the second annual Free 420 Concert in the Park hosted by the Northern Wisconsin chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
Green Lake Wisconsin will come alive with the one of the first spring outdoor concert events of the year. Music from the rock n roll band A Royal Clark will be featured. An impromptu acoustical performance from local musicians and a return of Al “Goodheart” Baker, sacred carrier of Ojibwe song and drum may be included in the event. Of course we expect spoken words by hemp cannabis activists to fill the air. We remind participants that this is not Madison and filling the air with cannabis smoke is not allowed, in fact; smoking of any form maybe prohibited in Deacon Mills park.
We may see fire of a different kind when joined by artists spinning and breathing fire. These performers generally juggle, dance, and twirl to entertain us in a very unique way.
Vendors including food/beverage, NORML merchandise, as well as a variety of wares are planned. Booths from Treating Yourself Magazine, THC-Tshirts, local chapters of NORML, P.A.M.P. (People Against Marijuana Prohibition), The WisconsinTeaPotParty, The Health Advocates Society, GreenWebDesign, Green Life Systems LLC and Magic Hat Glass.
NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO ATTEND and the event is free. Our meetings are open to the general public, supporters and members alike. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact jay@northernwinorml.org or visit www.NorthernWINORML.org for more information.
