Come celebrate 420 in Green Lake with a Free Concert in the Park.
Free 4/20 Concert in the Park
featuring: A Royal Clark
Wednesday, April 20 · 4:00pm – 7:00pm
This will be the second annual Free 420 Concert in the Park hosted by the Northern Wisconsin chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. I am excited to see the growth of our organization over the past year as well as additional chapters statewide. Countless dedicated individuals from all walks of life have come together in Wisconsin to help our legislators move FORWARD with positive reform for the laws that govern the humble hemp cannabis plant. As the plant can do far more good then harm, it seems illogical to try to extinguish it from existence. I invite you to Green Lake on April 20th to celebrate with fellow activists and supporters the Truth, Honesty and Compassion about hemp cannabis.
- A Royal Clark
Green Lake Wisconsin will come alive with the one of the first spring outdoor concert event of the year. Featuring a repeat performance from A Royal Clark, who participated in the September 18th “13 Band Cannabis Jam” for Friends of Jay Selthofner. Music from A Royal Clark, possible other bands/entertainment and spoken words by hemp cannabis activists will fill the air. This is not Madison and filling the air with cannabis smoke is not allowed, in fact; smoking of any form maybe prohibited in Deacon Mills park. But there might be artists spinning fire, if you know what we mean!
Vendors including food/beverage, NORML merchandise, as well as a variety of wares are planned. Booths from Treating Yourself Magazine, THC-Tshirts, local chapters of NORML(s), P.A.M.P. (People Against Marijuana Prohibition), The WisconsinTeaPotPary, The Health Advocates Society, GreenWebDesign, and local food co-op members are planned.
Vendor space is available and tents are allowed in the park.
A press release, printed/radio ads and flyers and additional promotional material are planned. Interested sponsors, vendors and others need to have responded by Friday, April 1st to be included on the printed promotional materials.
Funding is always needed and appreciated at any level and we thank you for you support.
Anonymous positions are available for you to maintain your privacy, but yet be effective and active. NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO ATTEND, our meetings are open to the general public, supporters and members alike.
