1st Annual Milwaukee Marijuana March
Cannabis activists from Milwaukee and all over the state of Wisconsin met at the UWM Student Union on August 22nd at 3pm. We marched 2 miles, and then rested in the park and shared information before the group of Marijuana activists began the 2 mile trek back to the student union.
People came from far and wide to attend the the first annual THC2.org Milwaukee marijuana march, including some of the Friends of Jay Selthofner.
Campaign Treasurer Jessica Franke and her husband Robert traveled to Milwaukee from Ripon to join protesters in raising awareness about the issue of Medical Marijuana and Marijuana Law Reform. They brought some of Jay’s best signs with them for the occasion.
During the march, supporters honked their horns for Medical Marijuana, and yelled encouragement out of their windows as they passed by. It was easy to see that Milwaukee supports ending marijuana prohibition.

Later in the park, several members of the public came over to talk and were educated about the many benefits of legalizing hemp and cannabis.
