Jacki Rickert, public namesake of the Wisconsin Medical Marijuana Act addressed the audience at A Cannabis Fair that took place in Kendall, Wisconsin. The Cannabis Fair featured statewide activists, a variety of organizations and included the introduction of the first ever “Ben Masel ‘Defender of Liberty’ Award” to recipient Ed Thompson. Jacki Rickert spoke after Ed Thompson received the award. Jacki has been fighting for medical cannabis rights for decades, hopefully her words inspire many to answer her call when “Passing the Torch” of activism.
