From the Land Folk Art Festival – A Gathering of Traditional Crafts and Skills with Demonstrations – Oct 23-24

Ok, so as you may know if you have looked at my facebook page, my blog, or anything else that has anything to do with me  in the last few months, you probably already know that my friend Jay Selthofner is running for State Assembly and I am his treasurer, webmaster, and all-purpose web geek. But Jay’s campaign is not all that’s noteworthy about Jay’s family.

The Selthofner family lives on the family farm where his wife, Narin Selthofner, grew up.  Her mother, Jan L. Londowski, has been hosting the ” From The Land Folk Art Festival” on the Toll-Londowski family farm since 2001.  Jan is a great lady, and in addition to her many other talents and skills,  she’s also the treasurer for Northern WI Norml.  You can find From the Land on Facebook, also.

Join us on October 23rd – 24th 2010, for the 9th annual From the Land festival.  This will be my first time attending, and I am really looking forward to it!
