WHAT: Fourth meeting of like minded folks in the greater Milwaukee / Southeastern Wisconsin
WHEN: TUESDAY, February 15th, 2011 at 6:30pm – 8:30pm (weather permitting)
WHERE: The Brewing Grounds for Change located at 2008 North Farwell Avenue.
WHO: Hemp, Cannabis and Marijuana supporters, NORML members and general public.
The snow and cold attended the first three meetings and we hope they do not attend the fourth. But we hope you are able to make it and help shape the future of this growing organization. Reported via their Facebook page:
This is the 4th meeting of Southeastern Wisconsin’s emerging cannabis reform leader. Join us at the next meeting as we announce the progress we have made and the steps we are working on to reform cannabis in Wisconsin. Contact your State Representatives and ask their opinion of cannabis at http://capwiz.com/norml2/home
The best way to regain freedom, is to be participatory in our system of government and help re-establish the positive public opinion cannabis held for thousands of years prior to the 1910’s. Thank you for supporting Cannabis reform in Wisconsin.
If you would like to volunteer to help out in some way please let us know.
Meanwhile, activists and supporters are encouraged to hand out fliers for the meeting/group. Talk to others about the group and your experience. Invite friends and supporters, etc.
Thank you for participating in the ever needed Acts of Freedom Restoration and Protection.
There has been a Facebook page created for group and Facebook event for February 15th meeting. Supporters are encouraged to reach out to other family, friends, colleagues and those who maybe interested. Also suggested is to notify your local media outlets, including community calendar of events.
In the meantime, do not forget to send your Hempy Valentines Day Card to Office of Governor Scott Walker, 115 East Capitol, Madison WI 53702 or the elected official of your choice. Let’s get our elected officials to re-introduce hemp, medical marijuana and cannabis reform laws this session. There is nothing wrong with talking about hemp and cannabis, and if they cannot even do that they are not listening to the will of the people.
