Eau Claire area seeks to become officially NORML

In June of 2011 the Northern Wisconsin NORML blog reported that the Eau Claire area supporters have been very active and could very possibly become the next NORML chapter serving Wisconsin supporters. As reported via the newly created Facebook page “EauClaire NORML“:

This group is the launching point for the creation of a local NORML chapter in the Eau Claire Wisconsin area. Only when we become organized and all stand together with one voice will our elected officials be forced to listen to us. We must never forget that they do not control us, but it is us who control them.

Join the group, make your voices heard. It is beyond time to enact humane laws regaurding the use of medical marijuana. How many more families will we let them destroy? How many more people need to die in pain? We are not terrorists, we are being terrorized!

Since then, chapter leaders have come forward and started with the fun part, paperwork! I am sure that any help and support you can offer would greatly be appreciated. They have already shown great organization by attending A Cannabis Fair in Kendall, Wisconsin; arriving by a carpool and cannabis caravan with a variety of supporters. Great work! We look forward to hearing more from the group.

Eau Claire NORML announces first meeting date!

This is the first meeting of EauClaire NORML. The meeting will be held in the lower level of the library, in the Eau Claire room. We will have some guests from other NORML organizations in the state, along with tons of great information. This is your chance to find out what is going on in this state and our country to end cannabis prohibition, and what you can do to help. We welcome anyone who wishes to come, this will be a child friendly meeting, and there will be activities for the younger children.
