Assembly Rep. Gordon Hintz Townhall March 19 Cancelled
His Fall online survey is still up and now he has a Listening Session / Town Hall schedule for Thursday March 19th at the Oshkosh Public Library. Go chat with Democrat Minority Leader Rep. Gordon Hintz.
Rep. Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) recently had a facbook post regarding his Fall Survey. The survey had a marijuana question on it, as did many of the Republican GOP Assembly Members did via a 2019 Spring GOP Assembly Survey. Rep. Hintz has co-sponsored AB 570 the grow your own/smoking cannabis bill by Republican Patrick Testin and Democrat Erpenbach. Rep Hintz has always seemed supportive of decriminalization and legalization in the past.
If he co-sponsored AB 220 (Legalization) or SB 577 (Decriminalization) as Democrat Minority Leader, it would send a clear message two both parties. If he is serious about reform and authored a legalization bill next session if re-elected, we all would feel more comfortable about his stance on marijuana reform.
From the Facebook Page Of Rep Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh):
I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the legislative session with a Fall Survey. This information will help me better represent your views and interests.
Please take a few moments to complete this survey so that I can better understand the state issues most important to you.

Here is the marijuana question he asks. I note since smoking cannabis and home grows are on the chopping block in the Republican bill version, I would have hoped the Democrats would have mounted a constituent charge and started gathering data to find out what they think about those issues regarding medical marijuana.
What forms of marijuana legalization should we prioritize? Please check all that apply.
Medicinal Only
Recreational
Decriminalization
Undecided
No action should be taken
