Rep. Clint Moses (R) 2025 Survey Results
On June 17th, 2025 I received an email from Rep. Clint Moses regarding the results of the 2025 Budget Survey that included a questions about cannabis reform. You can view the entire survey results in Rep. Moses Newsletter entitled “The Moses Message“.
I do not know how many of his constituents responded to his survey. In the past when I have inquired about these numbers, the actual number of surveys received is not usually an staggering large amount. That is why it is important when politicians like Moses put up these types of surveys, activists in the area need to work very hard to get their local support to participate in the process, we all know the haters are right there right away to just say NO.
If you want to learn more about Rep. Moses, and you should, I have mentioned him many times in past articles. He is a key player in the assembly and last session he is responsible for not allowing the medical cannabis bill he co-sponsored to receive a committee public hearing despite himself being the Chair of said committee. That just does not look good for him or for the “GOP push to do anything cannabis reform related.”

So what is next? We need Republican legislators to make cannabis reform a priority and work with the Democrats to 1) Form the Cannabis Caucus. 2) Hold a series of “informational only caucus/committee hearings and 3) write and pass cannabis reform measures in a bipartisan way that benefits Wisconsin. It is time we move FORWARD with reform and stop this unproductive political gridlock in Madison on the issue of marijuana.
