From The Land Festival in Green Lake Celebrates 10th Anniversary

October 22nd and 23rd, 2011

When: October 22-23, 2011 (Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-3).

A decade has passed since the first From The Land Festival was held and this year promises to be one of the best yet. Â New artists this year include spoon bags, several new jewelry and pottery artists, fabric bowls, engraved picture frames, inlaid cutting boards, paintings, primitive folk art, hand spun and woven articles, wearable art by Ursula and applique sweatshirts, stained glass, hand forged garden tools and garden art, plus your favorite vendors from over the past 10 years.
Jerry Apps will be at the event on Saturday only.  Books will be available for sale and the author will be available for autographs.  Jerry Apps will speak at 11:00 am on the topic of  “Horse Drawn Days” and 1:00pm with the topic being “Lighter Side of Country Life”.
New food items include Suzie’s Tea, butterfly french fries, chocolate candy, caramel apples and pulled lamb sandwiches sponsored by The Green Lake PTO. Â Even the antique tractor show is expected to be larger this year. Come on out to the farm and celebrate the 10th Annual From The Land Festival! Â Fun for the whole family!
