Halloween tricks, treats and politics
The Friends of Jay Selthofner attended many Halloween costume parties over the holiday weekend. One supporter went as a marijuana plant with a big sign “Legalize It”. The funny thing is he bought it at the Halloween store in the Fox Valley. Others went as walking billboards and some suited up, in a tie of course! No matter what they went as or where they went, literature and yard signs went with. Every report said voters where high with support.
The Selthofner family put on their marching shoes per Cannabis Candidate Selthofner’s orders. Youngest Leif followed his papa’s lead and stomped through every leaf pile he saw along the way (sorry folks, I guess that was his trick!) Willough went wild with enthusiasm, reminding folks to vote under his vampire mask. Lily went as a zombie pirate and mostly dragged herself along the way, campaigning when she felt the mood. My wife Narin is not a witch, but was one for Halloween in honor of Christine O’Donnell.
