Hemp History Week June 4-10, 2012

At Issue Econ 101 – a chance to ask your questions about our economy. What’s on your mind this week about the economy?  One of our members, field activist and a medical marijuana refugee spends some time on the road traveling throughout Northeast Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.  The economy is always on his mind.

Helping to create awareness for his own Medical Marijuana Tax Plan and State Structuring Program (www.TaxThis.org), as welll as the Wisconsin Medical Cannabis Act (JRMMA – Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act / 2011-2012 Assembly Bill 371 and Senate Bill 475) and the 2012 Michigan Ballot Initiative to End Marijuana Prohibition, Mark is constantly working on the issue.  He frequently uses radio call ins and other programs to help promote awareness and had a great question and answer section on  WPR, Wisconsin Public Radio on At Issue with Ben Merens.

Note the guest economist in the audio below.  If you do not want to listen to the whole program, start about 22 minutes into the program to catch the intro and questions by Mark, of course listen to the answer and use it.

The Wednesday February 22nd, 2012 Edition of Wisconsin Public Radio’s At Issue with Ben Merens and his guest economist Kevin Quinn, Associate Academic Dean and professor of Economics at St. Norbert College are questioned about Marijuana Prohibition and Hemp Cannabis Legalization in Wisconsin Economics.
