Purple Heart Press Conference expected Wed Nov 30th for next medical cannabis act in Wisconsin

There is a buzz in the air this morning and on the email list servers, Facebook messages, chats and the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network forums.  What a great way to start a Monday morning.

A thread form the Wiscan.org forum reported:

We received an email alert his morning through the NORML email system out of Madison and a quick phone call to Pocan’s office confirmed the following:

Press Conference to launch new Wisconsin Medical Cannabis Bill for 2011-2012

The press conference is set for the State Capitol’s Assembly Parlor (2nd Floor West) on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 1:00 pm.

Rep. Pocan’s office has confirmed that he and State Sen. Jon Erpenbach (D-Waunakee) will again be the lead sponsors of the legislation, LRB-2466/1. They will also be sending a letter to their colleagues asking if they would like to cosponsor the legislation.

Great news for patients, supporters, NORML members and Wisconsin Cannabis Activists!  I urge you to contact your legislator today and ask them to co-sponsor the Wisconsin Medical Cannabis Act.
